Overview

brighton church

We are a welcoming and friendly congregation that gathers in an attractive, historic Church.

The congregation has a special ministry of music with a fine Organist, playing our historic Fincham Organ (built 1884) and a small but energetic choir with our Director of Music conducting. Both organ and choir have an important role to play in leading the worship of God. Our worship could be described as traditional and liturgical, but with a range of music that is enhanced by the exceptional acoustics of the Church. Our choir would welcome new members who love music and like to sing. Practice is normally held at 8:00pm on a Thursday night. Please come and join us.

Trinity has a Bible Study Group that meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month at 7.30 pm in Trinity House.

Trinity’s Uniting Church Adult Fellowship (UCAF) holds luncheons on the 3rd Tuesday of February, April, June, September and November with interesting speakers.

The Church also has a women’s group, Alpha Zeta, which meets monthly on the 4th Monday evening at 7.30pm for social and educational activities and annually prepare backpacks and hampers to assist charities.

As a member of the Covenant Churches of Brighton we participate in the Good Friday Walk of Witness, Bethlehem in Brighton (a Christmas pageant for the children of our area), collecting for the Christmas Bowl Appeal and participating in Ecumenical Bible Studies during Advent and Lent.

Nursing Home worship services are held at six local nursing homes and hostels once or twice a month, in each facility.
